Enjoy a flea market

My dad used to take my brother and I to Dutch flea markets. He had the time of his life browsing for old books and records. I must admit we did not share the pleasure, but times have changed and even I got infected with the flea market syndrome. Must follow blog A Continuous Lean has posted a series of great posts about his visit(s) to the flea market in Brimfield. If you share the love for vintage stuff, you can go here to appreciate the images.

Railroad Watch

American watch company Hamilton, founded in 1892 and well-known for its railroad watches, has collaborated with Japanese brand Neighborhood to create this timepiece. A very nice collab, simple design does the trick for me. (more pics on SLAMXHYPE)

For people who work

Beautiful advertisement made by Norman Rockwell for Red Wing Shoes. The Postman shoe is also a handsome - but functional - example of footwear craftsmanship. Stay tuned for a closer look..(image via redwing1905)

Shoe Store

I would almost say this is what a shoe store should look like. Of course that's not true, but nevertheless I find these kinds of pictures breathtaking. It is actually a shoe store in the 1940's in Mount Victory, Ohio.
